Good morning, Father.
Thank you for getting me up bright and early and getting some of the lawn mowed while it is still somewhat cooler. Thank you for helping me to obey, and not just linger in bed like I honestly felt I NEEDED to. Please help me remember this, how I should always listen to you when you tell me to get up, even if I feel lousy and tired. You definitely know best! Father please help my husband today, and give him favor with his customers and bosses. I think it is completely terrible of them how they scheduled him to work this evening, even though they KNOW his step-daughter is graduating tonight. Please let there be peace, and let them not give my husband a hard time about leaving early. Do it FOR him, Lord — carry that burden for him. Thank you, Father!

Hebrews 10:21-24 ERV

And we have a great priest who rules the house of God.
Sprinkled with the blood of Christ, our hearts have been made free from a guilty conscience, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. So come near to God with a sincere heart, full of confidence because of our faith in Christ.
We must hold on to the hope we have, never hesitating to tell people about it. We can trust God to do what he promised.
We should think about each other to see how we can encourage each other to show love and do good works.

Lord, you know in what ways each of us are weak. I know you desire for us to give you those things, not to hold onto them and try to change them ourselves. Father, I thank you for giving me a clean conscience, despite not doing everything perfectly. I thank you for giving me chances like this morning, to obey you in a particular way, and feel like somewhat of a partner with you. Thank you for touching me, Lord. Please help my daughter’s graduation to go well tonight, and please help my little dog who is still lingering on the edge of death, eating a little, but not very much. Be near us all, Lord, and I offer up a special prayer for my friend in New York who is having some pretty difficult struggles herself. Touch her with your mercy, your grace, and your love, Lord. Show her that you are still near to her, you haven’t gone anywhere, and she can’t do anything to push you away. Thank you for being like that, Lord! Amen!
