Good morning, Lord.
Thank you so much for the fellowship time with my husband, and for helping him become more experienced at work so that it is finally becoming easier for him. Please help him, cover him, go before him and blaze the way through the rough waters ahead. Show him your awesome grace! 😀
John 1:17 KJV
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
I LOVE how Strong’s Concordance defines the Greek word here translated “grace” — charis = graciousness of manner or act, especially the divine influence on the heart, and its reflection in the life, including gratitude.
Wow! That is beautiful! I know all about mercy. That is an easy one to figure out. But all this time, I have struggled with the meaning of grace. And I must admit, it still somewhat eludes me. But reading this helps me, brings me a lot closer to understanding grace. And because of the concepts of “divine influence on the heart” and reflecting in the life as gratitude, now I have a HUGE appreciation for grace as well! Thank you, Lord, for teaching me gratitude — for showing me GRACE! 😀
