Good morning, Lord!
Thank you so much for comforting and encouraging me early this morning, helping me to get back on track and not be so down on myself. I thank you so much for giving me the privilege of handing over my troubles to you, and letting you take them, so that I am not overwhelmed. You know how many things are just too big for little me, Lord. Yet you are strong and able to take them on, and carry them for me. Thank you so much, Jesus!! 😀
Matthew 11:28-30 ERV
“Come to me all of you who are tired from the heavy burden you have been forced to carry. I will give you rest.
Accept my teaching. Learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit. And you will be able to get some rest.
Yes, the teaching that I ask you to accept is easy. The load I give you to carry is light.”
Thank you, Jesus, for taking on my burdens. Please help me to be a wise steward of all the blessings you have given me. Thank you so much for the ways in which you have been growing me — in patience with others, in healthy eating, in daily walks and little exercises, and probably other ways I cannot remember or name. Please help me to realize that these unseen ways of growing are enough, that I do not need to produce fruit that is seen by everyone else, just by you. That is the best fruit — that which is in our private garden, Lord. Still, I ask you to enlarge my territory and influence (like Jabez), and grow me in ways that I can be of greater help to others. Thank you, Lord!
