Good morning, Father.
I feel a bit “off” today, which is disappointing to say the least, after all that energy and drive I had yesterday. Still, I realize that I haven’t actually gone backwards, I’m still climbing, and sometimes that means a little scenic detour on a ledge while I rest or something. Father, please help me to regain my encouragement and energy once again. Help me to leave this lousy mood in the dust, and move forward beyond all the unneccessary detours. I accept your will for me, and your timing, Lord, but please give me the wisdom to see any tactics of the enemy, trying to steal my fruit. Help me to resist him, Lord, so that I may be fruitful for you. Thank you, Lord! 😀
1 Peter 5:8-10 ERV
Control yourselves and be careful! The devil is your enemy, and he goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to attack and eat.
Refuse to follow the devil. Stand strong in your faith. You know that your brothers and sisters all over the world are having the same sufferings that you have.
Yes, you will suffer for a short time. But after that, God will make everything right. He will make you strong. He will support you and keep you from falling. He is the God who gives all grace. He chose you to share in his glory in Christ. That glory will continue forever.
Lord, please give me the strength and the will to resist the enemy, and hold onto my faith. I don’t feel like the battle is too hard, for you are with me. I feel your strength, your hope, within me, encouraging me, giving me a platform to stand upon. Father, please help me to stand UP and stand strong, doing your will in Jesus’ name. Don’t let me be a fool, Lord, but make me wise in service to you. Show me the path you want me to walk this day. Thank you for choosing me!
