Happy Cinco de Mayo! 😀
Thank you, Father, for taking such good care of me! Thank you for starting my body on the road to healing and thank you for teaching me how to feed it better. Please help me to stop doing things that could potentially undermine my healing, and give me the will to do all the beneficial things instead. Thank you for leading me to some good websites where I can purchase some more wholesome food options, even while I do not have a car to drive to Sprouts and other health food stores. I can walk to Walmart and get my fresh produce, and even to Minyards to get some other things like Buckwheat groats, and now I can order other helpful things online — like quinoa pasta and organic Medjool dates. Thank you, Lord, for helping me find good recipe sites, too! It is awesome how they all have search criteria for healthier eating — like for raw foodists, Paleo dieters, vegetarians, and vegans. I’m not really any of those, exactly, but those options DO make my recipe searches easier. I am so grateful to live in this age of awesome technology and convenience! Please help me to use what I have wisely. And thank you so much for showing me how to make that awesome rich salad yesterday, one ingredient at a time, turning out more like a rich pasta than a lettuce salad, despite being almost totally veggies — haha, who knew?! It is FUN learning with you, Lord!! :o>
Psalm 119:102-108 ERV
You are my teacher, so I will always do whatever you decide.
Your words are so sweet to me, like the taste of honey!
I gain understanding from your instructions, so I hate anything that leads people the wrong way.
Your word is like a lamp that guides my steps, a light that shows the path I should take.
Your laws are good and fair. I have promised to obey them, and I will keep my promise.
LORD, I have suffered for a long time. Say the word, and I will live again!
LORD, accept the praise I want to give you, and teach me your laws.
Father, once again I lift my husband up to you and ask you to guide him into a less stressful job situation. Please go before him and create change, for his good, because he truly loves you, Lord. Thank you for showing us something he DOES like in my healthy foods, munching on raw buckwheat groats like a tiny complete-protein snack. Yay!
Please be with my oldest son and guide him to his new home, wherever that may be. Please be near to him, teach him, help him learn to lean on you and not be so stressed out. Reveal to him how YOU have made him, Lord, so he can trust that you will provide for his needs. And show him the ways you do not want him to be, causing him to grow in patience and peace and agape love. Prepare him for a mate, Father. Amen! 😀
