Good morning, Father!
Thank you for the excitement in my heart today, and my eagerness to work on several different projects I have going! Please guide me and help me to hear you, my Shepherd, so that I may accomplish your will and not my own. Please help me to cling to you more fastidiously, and look to you more faithfully. Please bless my husband with a new company to work for, one which does not keep dropping the ball and making him pay for their mistakes. Please bless each of my children with peace today, Lord, and please guide my oldest son to a new apartment and meeting new people! 😀

1 John 4:16-21 ERV

So we know the love that God has for us, and we trust that love. God is love. Everyone who lives in love lives in God, and God lives in them.
If God’s love is made perfect in us, we can be without fear on the day when God judges the world. We will be without fear, because in this world we are like Jesus.
Where God’s love is, there is no fear, because God’s perfect love takes away fear. It is his punishment that makes a person fear. So his love is not made perfect in the one who has fear.
We love because God first loved us.
If we say we love God but hate any of our brothers or sisters in his family, we are liars. If we don’t love someone we have seen, how can we love God? We have never even seen him.
God gave us this command: If we love God, we must also love each other as brothers and sisters.

I love how it says, In THIS world we are like Jesus…!
We don’t have to wallow around in sin and distance from God, waiting until the day we go “home” to Him! We can be like Jesus NOW, and we can boldly come before the throne of grace, walking right up to God, our heavenly Father! Yay!! :O>

Hebrews 4:14-16 ERV

We have a great high priest who has gone to live with God in heaven. He is Jesus the Son of God. So let us continue to express our faith in him.
Jesus, our high priest, is able to understand our weaknesses. When Jesus lived on earth, he was tempted in every way. He was tempted in the same ways we are tempted, but he never sinned.
With Jesus as our high priest, we can feel free to come before God’s throne where there is grace. There we receive mercy and kindness to help us when we need it.

Thank you, Jesus! For my most valuable, beloved possession is the ability to come into the presence of the Almighty God, with confidence, because I am accepted — because I accept Jesus as my awesome Shepherd who cleanses me and cares for me. Thank you for choosing me, Lord! 😀
