Good morning, Father.
Thank you for a dozen small mercies and helps before even 8am this morning. Thank you for reaching out and touching me right where I am, not expecting me to heal myself and come to you spotless. I soooo love the way you Love, Father. My heart aches for peeps I have met that would love to know you, to feel your Touch, who need your Healing. I pray for them, for your mercy upon them, Lord. THANK YOU for keeping some safe, taking them out of a situation of temptation that could have been too much for them. I thank you for the mercy you have shown to those who barely even know you, and who are so misled by the vulgarity of the “church” and also by those who taint your Word with man’s foolish and prideful interpretations. I pray that you show them your pure Word, as it comes from your mouth, your Spirit, your Son, our Savior. Bless us with your peace, and protect us with your mighty Spirit of Truth. Amen. Thank you, Lord Jesus, faithful Shepherd. I trust you completely.

Zechariah 4 ERV

Then the angel who was talking to me returned and woke me up. I was like a person waking up from sleep.
Then the angel asked me, “What do you see?” I said, “I see a solid gold lampstand. There are seven lamps on the lampstand, and there is a bowl on top of it. There are seven tubes coming from the bowl. One tube goes to each lamp. The tubes bring the oil in the bowl to each of the lamps.
There are two olive trees by the bowl, one on the right side and one on the left side. These trees produce the oil for the lamps.”
Then I asked the angel who was speaking with me, “Sir, what do these things mean?”
The angel speaking with me said, “Don’t you know what these things are?” “No sir,” I said.
He said, “This is the message from the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Your help will not come from your own strength and power. No, your help will come from my Spirit.’ This is what the LORD All-Powerful says.
That tall mountain will be like a flat place for Zerubbabel. He will build the Temple, and when the most important stone is put in place, the people will shout, ‘Beautiful! Beautiful!'”
The LORD’S message to me also said,
“Zerubbabel will lay the foundations for my Temple, and he will finish building it. Then you will know that the LORD All-Powerful sent me to you people.
People will not be ashamed of the small beginnings, and they will be very happy when they see Zerubbabel with the plumb line, measuring and checking the finished building. Now the seven sides of the stone you saw represent the eyes of the LORD looking in every direction. They see everything on earth.”
Then I said to him, “I saw one olive tree on the right side of the lampstand and one on the left side. What do those two olive trees mean?”
I also said to him, “I saw two olive branches by the gold tubes with gold colored oil flowing from them. What do these things mean?”
Then the angel said to me, “Don’t you know what these things mean?” I said, “No, sir.”
So he said, “They represent the two men chosen to serve the Lord of the whole world.”

Lord I thank you for my own “small beginnings” — the yom qatan — and I thank you for your playful and loving Spirit that does not chide me in making playful use of words that others take so stiffly and even form whole religions around. Thank you for your Eyes upon the earth, despite all the people who think you have forgotten us or that you do not exist at all. How very sad for them, to reject you before ever getting to know you. I am grateful for my Mate and all the others who by FAITH know you, and through faith are found pleasing to you.

Hebrews 11:6 ERV

Without faith no one can please God. Whoever comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who sincerely try to find him.

Lord, I thank you for the calm that I have this morning, despite still standing on the edge of financial ruin again for the umpteenth time. I sooooooo much prefer being humbled and poor than rich and too busy to CARE. I thank you for getting me out into nature so that I could interact with some of your creatures before the sun rose fully and started chasing me back indoors with its heat. I thank you for alerting me to spiritual dangers, setting me on guard and allowing me to see the faithful way that BOTH of my husbands still protect me — not just my awesome eternal Husband (most important!) but even my temporal Mate, who heard me and stood up powerfully despite feeling weak and ill this morning. I ask you to have mercy on him, Lord. Heal him beyond expectation, get him up and moving at some point today so that he can grill the meat he brought home two days ago. Give him everything he needs so that he can be faithful to his own self, in not letting his purchases go to waste. Show me how I may help, and prompt me when it is time to do so. Thank you for your continuing guidance and nurturance, faithful Shepherd. Amen. 🙂
