Good morning, Lord.
Thank you for the beautiful storm yesterday from dusk until sunset, filming the blowing trees and rumbling thunder, and watching the sky get lighter and then darker again as time passed, lol. Thank you for helping me enjoy it thoroughly, instead of being distracted by my work as I tend to get when there are still design issues to be worked out. It is awesome to watch myself grow under your expert care and guidance, faithful Shepherd! Please help me keep remembering that I “need nothing of it” so I can enjoy my work as you have intended. Amen.

Ephesians 3:16-21 ERV

I ask the Father with his great glory to give you the power to be strong in your spirits. He will give you that strength through his Spirit.
I pray that Christ will live in your hearts because of your faith. I pray that your life will be strong in love and be built on love.
And I pray that you and all God’s holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ’s love—how wide, how long, how high, and how deep that love is.
Christ’s love is greater than anyone can ever know, but I pray that you will be able to know that love. Then you can be filled with everything God has for you.
With God’s power working in us, he can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of.
To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time, forever and ever. Amen.

Lord, please bless that special someone who is reading this blog right now. Let them know that they are seen, they are understood, and they are loved. Give them a warm spiritual hug from me, and let your Hand rest upon them this day, a comfort that is ever-present yet never can be earned but only accepted and appreciated. Please help us ALL grow in gratitude, so that we can walk FREE of our bitter envies and strifes, our comparisons and our expectations. Help us lay down all those foolish human distractions, like taking shackles off our ankles. THANK YOU Lord Jesus for making a way for us to have peace and joy despite EVERYTHING that happens to us in this life. Give us the humility and wisdom to accept your free gift and stop thinking we have to do MORE in order to earn it or keep it. Amen. Thank you for your diligent care, faithful Shepherd!
