Good morning, Father.
Thank you for the sweetness this morning, reminding me of encouraging things while I lingered in bed. Thank you for my fuzzy head right now, still not alert enough to feel much of anything, and groggy enough to not take anything seriously. Thank you for the BBQ planned for today, some time off from my work to hang out with our newest friends and have more summer good times. Thank you also for helping me get so very many things done yesterday, from shower and laundry, to reorganizing my stash of books and things, to shopping and even some decent progress on my work. I feel like I got two days worth of stuff done yesterday, and it helps me be more relaxed today, while I am groggy and while I spend time with other people. THANK YOU, faithful Shepherd, for always providing for my needs, even when I don’t know I will need them, lol. 🙂

Isaiah 58:11 ERV

The LORD will always lead you and satisfy your needs in dry lands. He will give strength to your bones. You will be like a garden that has plenty of water, like a spring that never goes dry.

Matthew 6:7-14 ERV

“And when you pray, don’t be like the people who don’t know God. They say the same things again and again. They think that if they say it enough, their god will hear them.
Don’t be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
So this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, we pray that your name will always be kept holy.
We pray that your kingdom will come— that what you want will be done here on earth, the same as in heaven.
Give us the food we need for today.
Forgive our sins, just as we have forgiven those who did wrong to us.
Don’t let us be tempted, but save us from the Evil One.’
Yes, if you forgive others for the wrongs they do to you, then your Father in heaven will also forgive your wrongs.

Isaiah 65:24 ERV

I will answer them before they call for help. I will help them before they finish asking.
