I shall yet learn, and grow beyond the immaturity of adulthood. I shall again laugh, and learn the wisdom of a child.

Lord, it has not even been 24 hours since I asked, and you have already done so much to heal my heart and release me from the sorrow caused by my faulty expectations! THANK YOU for giving me all the insights and instructions this morning, even before 7am! THANK YOU for helping me remember most of it, if not all of it… and getting it written down in my notes so that hopefully I can remember what I need to, for my own growth and healing!! And thank you again for introvert time yesterday, allowing me to feel like myself again at last! Please teach me how to take better care of myself, building the resources you showed me in brief, these last couple hours.
Father, yet again I lift my precious son up to you and ask you to touch him this day, right where he is. Give him a taste of the peace that you offer, that beautiful way that you lay your Hand upon a human heart and just say, “Be still, I am with you.” I don’t know how I would survive without your Touch, my Lord. Please help my son to accept it, and live FREE! Amen.

Romans 4:13-16 ERV

Abraham and his descendants received the promise that they would get the whole world. But Abraham did not receive that promise because he followed the law. He received that promise because he was right with God through his faith.
If people could get God’s promise by following the law, then faith is worthless. And God’s promise to Abraham is worthless,
because the law can only bring God’s anger on those who disobey it. But if there is no law, then there is nothing to disobey.
So people get what God promised by having faith. This happens so that the promise can be a free gift. And if the promise is a free gift, then all of Abraham’s people will get that promise. The promise is not just for those who live under the Law of Moses. It is for all who live with faith as Abraham did. He is the father of us all.

Lord, help my precious peeps see that they don’t have to be “good” to receive your Love, your Care, your Healing… they only just need to believe that you ARE who you say you are, that you can DO what you say you can do… and that your HEART toward us is good — you DESIRE to reward our faith, our trust in and reliance upon you!

Hebrews 11:6 ERV

Without faith no one can please God. Whoever comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who sincerely try to find him.

Lord, I honestly do not know if we are capable of having faith ourselves, or if the faith itself is a FREE GIFT from you. I have seen how you turn away the arrogant, the people who foolishly demand that you “show yourself” or prove yourself to them. That is a thousand times more egotistical than if I tried to call the President and assumed he would take my call, lol. You DESERVE our respect, our reverence, our awe, our worship! I am very, very, VERY glad that you are not that pussy God portrayed by the world’s churches — a “god” who is moved by men’s actions, who has to follow man’s little rules of “if I pray and go to church and be a good little Christian, then God has to bless me like this, and that, and WITH this, and with that…” I wish we ALL could understand more deeply what Jesus said about LOSING our Life, in order to find it… Of course it is obvious He was not talking about our physical life, but rather our foolish insistance that we know what is best for our own puny human selves AND can make those things happen! Hah! I still kinda think you should not have made man, Lord. We are blind fools who are so self-absorbed that we cannot see and appreciate the awesome DUNAMIS power of the Almighty God who could easily wipe us all out in a breath, but chooses to show mercy instead.
Lord, please shower your mercy upon each of my children, and help them to BELIEVE who you are and what you can do… so they can experience your Care rather than the world’s DESPAIR!!
