I shall yet learn, and grow beyond the immaturity of adulthood. I shall again laugh, and learn the wisdom of a child.

Lord, as I work on adding my new info to each page of my old printable products and migrating them all over to the new ONE site, I somehow feel very small, subdued, and emotionally sensitive. It is a monumental task, and it has taken me 15 years to create all those thousands of pages of materials. While it is sometimes fun to see the old stuff… and I get inspired to create new, better, more interactive and FUN versions of some of them… I still find myself battling SHAME fueled by the events that have transpired recently, my digital work being JUST that of a woman and therefore of little value. I am grateful that my Mate does not respect me less for my gender — in fact we could not have even half the relationship we have, if I were also a man. So once again, I will just focus on the things I CAN change, and let GO of the things I can NOT. I will trust YOU to continue to heal me and grow me, faithful Shepherd. Amen.

Psalm 69:13-20 ERV

As for me, LORD, this is my prayer to you: Please accept me! God, I want you to answer me with love. I know I can trust you to save me.
Pull me from the mud, and don’t let me sink down deeper. Save me from those who hate me. Save me from this deep water.
Don’t let the waves drown me. Don’t let the deep sea swallow me or the grave close its mouth on me.
Answer me, LORD, from the goodness of your faithful love. Out of your great kindness turn to me and help me!
Don’t turn away from your servant. I am in trouble, so hurry and help me!
Come save my soul. Rescue me from my enemies.
You know the shame I have suffered. You know all my enemies. You saw how they humiliated me.
I feel the pain of their insults. The shame makes me feel like dying! I wanted some sympathy, but there was none. I waited for someone to comfort me, but no one came.
