Good morning, Lord.
Thank you for my work, for the wide-open arena in which to build, and thank you for helping me to finally make some progress on the new site yesterday. Thank you for touching my Mate and working intimately with him, moving his heart in the direction of his own freedom. Lord, I ask that you give him things to keep himself busy and productive, pleasant distractions that build him up more than wear him out. THANK YOU for taking such awesome care of us, faithful Shepherd.

Psalm 23 ERV

A song of David. The LORD is my shepherd. I will always have everything I need.
He gives me green pastures to lie in. He leads me by calm pools of water.
He restores my strength. He leads me on right paths to show that he is good.
Even if I walk through a valley as dark as the grave, I will not be afraid of any danger, because you are with me. Your rod and staff comfort me.
You prepared a meal for me in front of my enemies. You welcomed me as an honored guest. My cup is full and spilling over.
Your goodness and mercy will be with me all my life, and I will live in the LORD’S house a long, long time.

Lord, I confess that I am still very distracted and still quite a bit discouraged with my own personal battles. I ask you to help me keep focused on the things I CAN change, possibly even seeing ways I can make some of the non-changeable things a bit more positive. Help me to just trust in you, and be content with my Mate and my work. I know that I have everything I need. As for my outward circumstances, it is true that I “need nothing of it”. Amen.
