Hello, Father.
Thank you for the absolute peace I feel, despite all the crazy circumstances I am finding myself in. My Mate is under the camper, jacking it up, having to figure out how to make a broken system do what we need it to do (lift up high enough to get onto the back of the truck which still hasn’t been started in about 2 months, lol!), without even having the tools that he needs. Pure insanity. I love it! 😀
An hour later, and we are back inside cooling off, letting my Mate rest his back and figure out what to do next. It is soooooooo awesome to be able to trust in my man’s competence and in my God’s timing and provision. I feel peaceful, not rushed or worried, not hindered by thoughts of how things are “supposed” to be, just letting life flow and use what is given me to the best of my ability. I feel more FREE than everyone around me, no matter how “successful” they may be in this world. They look at us and wonder how we can live like we do, with no fear of the future or compulsion to “conform to the norm”. Man, I honestly don’t know how they can live with the burden of following so many unspoken rules! Maybe that’s why each of us can be such “generalists”, with him able to do plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tile setting, and fix or build just about anything… and me with my photography, video production, web design, graphic design, ui/ux and content creation — just about anything digital, lol. What an insane and happy couple we make!

1 Peter 2:15-17 ERV

When you do good, you stop ignorant people from saying foolish things about you. This is what God wants.
Live like free people, but don’t use your freedom as an excuse to do evil. Live as those who are serving God.
Show respect for all people.
Love your brothers and sisters in God’s family. Respect God, and honor the king.

Lord, I thank you for giving me so many opportunities for giving gifts and acting in love and humility. I thank you that I do NOT need to expose or explain the things that have happened here in the last couple months, but that I can walk forward in freedom, knowing I was faithful, did everything that was asked of me and so, so much more. You know, you see, you got my back, Lord. Let’s see what you bring us in the coming weeks and months. What story will you write for this insane, happy couple of Homeless Nomads? Heehee. 😉
