Good morning, Lord.
I’m so dizzy this morning that it may be difficult to walk to the store here in a bit. Still, having walked there the last 5 days in a row, it seems an easy enough thing, like my feet can do it on their own without much help from my head. 🙂
I pray that you steady my head and strengthen my body, so that I can take care of my family and do my work as well. And there are so many things I want to DO, Lord! I have so many ideas for art projects, and I’ve got websites to build, books to write, books to read, audiobooks to listen to… I don’t WANT to be sick, or even slowed down! Still, I trust you, Father. If you care to slow my pace, it is for a reason. I know I need to listen to you better, seek you more, follow you more closely. So I thank you for this gummy head I’ve got this morning, forcing me to slow down and look to you. Thank you, Shepherd!

Romans 8:28-31 ERV

We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. These are the people God chose, because that was his plan.
God knew them before he made the world. And he decided that they would be like his Son. Then Jesus would be the firstborn of many brothers and sisters.
God planned for them to be like his Son. He chose them and made them right with him. And after he made them right, he gave them his glory.
So what should we say about this? If God is for us, no one can stand against us. And God is with us.

Thank you, Father, for choosing me. Thank you for making me more like your Son all the time. Thank you for setting your Spirit within me, to guide me, comfort me, teach me, and make intercession for me and for those whom I love. Serving you is such an honor, Lord! Thank you for using everything in my life — the good and the bad — to mold me according to your will and purpose. Please continue to grow me and show me how to share your love with others. Help me to be more humble and more fruitful for you. Amen! 😀
