Good morning, Father.
This morning I sincerely wish I could actually do several things at once — with my mind and body devoted to each one simultaneously, lol. I woke up with several things in my brain that I wanted to get right to, but I know it’s always a good idea to write here on this little prayer blog FIRST — otherwise I may not remember to do so. I know I do “chatter” at you throughout the day, Lord — but somehow, giving you the “first fruits” of my day just seems to set things on the right path. People all over the world have little morning rituals — some beneficial, some harmful — and while writing in general, in a journal, used to help me in the past, I have found that the last several years of writing on Praying With The Word has not only cleansed my brain but also grown my spirit! I hope it has helped others out there somewhere, in some way. I get visitors almost every hour, certainly every day without fail — I do not know who they are or where they live, and I do not know if they are receiving any benefit other than some mild entertainment. I pray that you touch each heart and spirit that reads this little prayer blog, Father. It is not my words but your Word that is living and active and able to change our lives. “Make it so!”

Hebrews 4:12-13 ERV

God’s word is alive and working. It is sharper than the sharpest sword and cuts all the way into us. It cuts deep to the place where the soul and the spirit are joined. God’s word cuts to the center of our joints and our bones. It judges the thoughts and feelings in our hearts.
Nothing in all the world can be hidden from God. He can clearly see all things. Everything is open before him. And to him we must explain the way we have lived.

Psa 119:162 ERV  Your word makes me happy, like someone who has found a great treasure.

Psa 119:140 ERV  I love your word. Time and again it has been proven true.

Psa 119:130 ERV  As people understand your word, it brings light to their lives. Your word makes even simple people wise.

Psa 119:105 ERV Your word is like a lamp that guides my steps, a light that shows the path I should take.

THANK YOU for the amazing opportunity to communicate more with my youngest son, Lord! It delighted my heart to see an email from him first thing this morning, and it made the other things I was wanting to do seem to fade into the background a bit, lol. Father, I love each of my sons dearly, and I pray you bless them each with a good woman for a mate, in your perfect timing. Please give each of my children peace and a solid, personal connection with your Spirit — your living Word. Help them to rest upon an “attitude of gratitude” so that together with the last thing, they can be prepared for anything and everything! Amen. 🙂

Colossians 4:2 ERV

Never stop praying. Be ready for anything by praying and being thankful.
