Good morning, Father!
Thank you so much for the delightful, timely surprise of money borrowed from kindhearted people who love you! I am so much relieved to know that we will not be kicked out of our home and that my daughter can continue going to school, graduating here in two months’ time. Thank you for your awesome provision! Thank you also for encouraging me in my work, helping me to get going on the new Online Spanish Textbook you put before me to create, giving me the focus to work on it even BEFORE I knew how you were going to meet our immediate needs! Thank you, Father, for always instilling your peace in my heart, during even the most difficult times of the Unknown…! Please do not let all those little moments of fear and overwhelm that I had detract from your glory, Father! Let your Faithfulness be known to all! 😀

1 Timothy 6:6-12 KJV

But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:6-12 ERV

Devotion to God is, in fact, a way for people to be very rich, but only if it makes them satisfied with what they have.
When we came into the world, we brought nothing. And when we die, we can take nothing out.
So, if we have food and clothes, we will be satisfied with that.
People who want to be rich bring temptations to themselves. They are caught in a trap. They begin to want many foolish things that will hurt them. These things ruin and destroy people.
The love of money causes all kinds of evil. Some people have turned away from what we believe because they want to get more and more money. But they have caused themselves a lot of pain and sorrow.
But you belong to God. So you should stay away from all those things. Always try to do what is right, to be devoted to God, and to have faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
We have to fight to keep our faith. Try as hard as you can to win that fight. Take hold of eternal life. It is the life you were chosen to have when you confessed your faith in Jesus–that wonderful truth that you spoke so openly and that so many people heard.

This is one of those cases when it is very interesting to compare the original King James with the new Easy-Read version. Unfortunately, my mind is so distracted and boggled from trying to think of anything and everything I might need to get on this, my LAST day with a vehicle, that I am finding it hard to soak in any version. Father, please let my mind and heart be content and trust in you, knowing that if there be anything I cannot carry home from the store in the next weeks or however long until I get a car again, that you will make a time for my husband to drive me, and give him peace of mind and willingness to do so. I trust you, Lord! Please go with my husband as he brings the money we have to our landlord, and let him show mercy, trusting us to give him the REST of what we owe for 3 months’ rent next week. Thank you again for the awesome show of mercy you bestowed upon us through your servants, Lord. Please bless their hearts richly, and give my husband and I enough income in the coming months that we can pay back what we owe, plus enough to give to others to help meet their needs as well. Thank you for abundance, Lord! For surely I am rich, even without a car, because I have your love. Thank you for choosing me, Father! 😀
