Good morning, Lord!
Thank you for closeness and warmth — and warm clothes! I am hoping to get a couple more long sleeve shirts tomorrow at the free clothing exchange place, but I am happy happy happy to have found my warm fuzzy over-pants and my warm fuzzy over-sweater! Heehee — I guess it’s the little things that tickle me, give me joy. 😀 Father, I thank you for helping me endure my emotions during this time of change and facing the Unknowns once again. I thank you for the peace that I feel right now, as I sit in my sister’s warm kitchen — my old summer “office”, lol — working on my websites and making the best of this cold snap. Please help my Mate and I install the little insulation over our windows in the camper, so we don’t get toooooooo cold during the single-digit overnight temps that are coming. THANK YOU for our little space heater that keeps most of the camper warm enough to live in. I am looking forward to seeing just how much that insulation can make a difference! 🙂

Psalm 147:7-18 ERV

Give thanks to the LORD. Praise our God with harps.
He fills the sky with clouds. He sends rain to the earth. He makes the grass grow on the mountains.
He gives food to the animals. He feeds the young birds that cry out.
War horses and powerful soldiers are not what he cares about.
The LORD enjoys people who worship him and trust in his faithful love.

Jerusalem, praise the LORD! Zion, praise your God!
He makes your gates strong, and he blesses the people in your city.
He brought peace to your country, so you have plenty of grain for food.
He gives a command to the earth, and it quickly obeys.
He makes the snow fall until the ground is as white as wool. He makes sleet blow through the air like dust.
He makes hail fall like rocks from the sky. No one can stand the cold he sends.
Then he gives another command, and warm air begins to blow. The ice melts, and water begins to flow.
