Hello, Lord.
Thank you for the progress made yesterday. Some of it was actually quite painful, but I believe it was worth it, overall. Thank you for the sunshine and promise of 50 degrees today, so that I won’t freeze too bad in the forest today. Please help us to complete the remaining tasks and time here, and guide us to leave in YOUR timing. My Mate and I wish we could have left a couple weeks ago, and now this Big Chill is coming, overnight lows in the teens… YIKES!! Yet today in Texas it is supposed to be 80 degrees or so… Argh!! Lord, I sincerely desire to be FREE of weather-conciousness. The only huge effects it seems to have are upon my freedoms to move around and to work. I am grateful that temps over 90 or below 45 have been effecting my MOOD less each year, it seems… but I ask you to help me stretch my ability AND my willingness to work and to move about indoors and outdoors in those temperature extremes. Teach me, faithful Shepherd. I am willing. 🙂

1 Timothy 2:9-15 ERV

And I want the women to make themselves attractive in the right way. Their clothes should be sensible and appropriate. They should not draw attention to themselves with fancy hairstyles or gold jewelry or pearls or expensive clothes.
But they should make themselves attractive by the good things they do. That is more appropriate for women who say they are devoted to God.
A woman should learn while listening quietly and being completely willing to obey.
I don’t allow a woman to teach a man or tell him what to do. She must listen quietly,
because Adam was made first. Eve was made later.
Also, Adam was not the one who was tricked. It was the woman who was tricked and became a sinner.
But women will be saved in their work of having children. They will be saved if they continue to live in faith, love, and holiness with sensible behavior.

LOL, Lord, you did not make me QUIET, but you did make me willing to serve, and faithful to obey. Still, I ask you to continue your work in me, including making me more and more able to LISTEN more patiently and attentively. My Mate and I both are passionate and hyperactive people, and it truly seems we both NEED to be, in order to live our Homeless Nomad lifestyle, heehee. I really enjoy the frugality and simplicity which we are developing, and I ask you to continue to lead us both in what YOU would have us do with the rest of our time in this life. Amen.

THANK YOU, Father, for this sweet little “forest art” that has been thriving on my desk for the past week or so… please bless it and help me keep it safe, eventually letting at least SOME of the 4 different species of moss inside it grow OUT where I can see it! <3
