I shall yet learn, and grow beyond the immaturity of adulthood. I shall again laugh, and learn the wisdom of a child.

Hello, Lord!
I cannot believe how FAST the time is dissipating lately!! THANK YOU for helping me to get firmly settled into the new camper, and my new office space inside it. THANK YOU for the warm blankets during this cold spell, with windchills in the 20’s at night!! THANK YOU for the awesome trip to Blick Art Materials, and my new little paints and ideas and plans. THANK YOU for giving me a vision of what to do for a couple of my websites — answered prayer, since I’ve been trying to force it forward, feeling like I am pushing a dead horse up a hill until you came along behind me to lift the burden and show me the path. THANK YOU, faithful Shepherd!! 😀

Psalm 127 ERV

A song from Solomon for going up to the Temple. If it is not the LORD who builds a house, the builders are wasting their time. If it is not the LORD who watches over the city, the guards are wasting their time.
It is a waste of time to get up early and stay up late, trying to make a living. The Lord provides for those he loves, even while they are sleeping.
Children are a gift from the LORD, a reward from a mother’s womb.
A young man’s sons are like the arrows in a soldier’s hand.
The man who fills his quiver with sons will be very blessed. He will never be defeated when he opposes his enemy at the city gates.

Lord, I thank you for guiding me in my work, and even in my play. I thank you for giving me a heart that longs for you, and desires to please you and do things your way. I thank you for always protecting me and providing for me. I thank you for the gift of my awesome children, and I ask you to bring each of them into a close relationship with you, KNOWING you! Thank you for loving them even more than I do myself. Thank you for giving them just the right amount of challenges and opportunities in their lives, and please strengthen each of their hearts so that they do not grow overly discouraged in this world that can be so lonely and cold and unrewarding. Comfort them, Father, as I cannot. Amen.
