Good morning, Father!
Thank you so much for the lovely Introvert Day for both myself and my sister yesterday — her at home, me at the library! Thank you for helping us change out her waterbed mattress and heater and getting it started back on the road to her NORM. Thank you also for providing me with a new stylus for my Note 4, getting it back to its norm as well! 😀 Thank you for the awesome, super-lovely weather we’ve had here in Iowa this past week or more — lots of thrilling, soothing thunder and rain and breezes and cool air — and even a bit of sunshine here and there! Father, please be with my Mate in HOT Texas, help him recover from his injury and make progress toward whatever goal YOU have for him. Please take care of ALL things, preparing all things and all people, so my Mate can finally join me here — in your perfect timing, Lord God. I trust you completely. Amen.

Titus 2 ERV

You, however, must tell everyone how to live in a way that agrees with the true teaching.
Teach the older men to have self-control, to be serious, and to be wise. They must be strong in faith, in love, and in patience.
Also, teach the older women to live the way those who serve the Lord should live. They should not go around saying bad things about others or be in the habit of drinking too much. They should teach what is good.
By doing this they will teach the younger women to love their husbands and children.
They will teach them to be wise and pure, to take care of their homes, to be kind, and to be willing to serve their husbands.
Then no one will be able to criticize the teaching God gave us.
In the same way, tell the young men to be wise.
You should be an example for them in every way by the good things you do. When you teach, be honest and serious.
And your teaching should be clearly right so that you cannot be criticized. Then anyone who is against you will be ashamed. There will not be anything bad they can say about us.
And tell this to those who are slaves: They should be willing to serve their masters at all times; they should try to please them, not argue with them;
they should not steal from them; and they should show their masters that they can be trusted. Then, in everything they do, they will show that the teaching of God our Savior is good.
That is the way we should live, because God’s grace has come. That grace can save everyone.
It teaches us not to live against God and not to do the bad things the world wants to do. It teaches us to live on earth now in a wise and right way—a way that shows true devotion to God.
We should live like that while we are waiting for the coming of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. He is our great hope, and he will come with glory.

He gave himself for us. He died to free us from all evil. He died to make us pure—people who belong only to him and who always want to do good.
These are the things you should tell people. Encourage them, and when they are wrong, correct them. You have full authority to do this, so don’t let anyone think they can ignore you.

Lord, I thank you for your redeeming grace that has made me able to grow past the days of too much drinking, and sometimes railing against my husband. I thank you that I have not had a drop of alcohol now in close to 2 years, and that I have found OTHER ways to relax and enjoy life. I thank you for creating me in such a way that I am always willing to serve my husband (second only to you, Lord!) and planting in me a deep desire to help other women enjoy their mates and adapt to them, serving them with delight. I pray that you prepare me to do whatever I can in that capacity — and to cast aside my desire to do that, whenever it conflicts with what YOU want me to do or say or give at that particular moment. Please help me to be flexible and teachable and humble. Continue to work on my tongue, Lord, making me more and more able to withhold my words and speak only in kindness and Love. I have a long ways to go, but you will be with me every step of every day. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

Father, I ask that you be with those of your beloved children who are “slaves” in this world, forced to work for other people, serving their purpose and fulfilling their goals. I know it is the NORM today to get up early, wait in traffic, exchange your TIME for money, wait in traffic again, and do it all again the next day. I thank you for never making me or my Mate have to suffer that fate for very long in this life, and making us able to live frugally and bear the consequences of not living the norm. Please continue to provide for us in your own way and your own timing, Lord. And give strength and joy to those caught up in today’s standards and expectations. Help your people live for you. Help them to stop and SEE your creation and KNOW your Voice and your Touch. Amen. 🙂
