Good morning, Lord.
I don’t know what you are doing with me, but I pray that you help me through it without messing anything up. Please help me to keep my mind calm and my mouth shut. I feel very vulnerable, and frustrated. I had a very realistic nightmare, the feel of it is still weighing upon me, I am still groggy from having to take a sleeping pill last night, there is a visitor staying in the house all weekend, and in the very short time she’s been here, she’s already used three times as much internet allowance as I used the entire day yesterday. You know how I need to stay connected even just to use my applications, Lord. And only you know how hard I try to respect my sister and not use up all her internet allowance — and how that has already been made harder for me by her own computer using up 20% of the entire month’s allowance in one day already. You see how I spent my time yesterday, giving to others instead of doing my own work. You see inside my heart and mind, how badly I want to make progress, build things up, prepare for a future with my Mate. And right now, I feel extremely discouraged in all of it. My head hurts, my eyes are blurry, and I am exceedingly grumpy. This is not like me. Please help me to just be your little Acceptance with Joy, and let GO of my own self, my own expectations and disappointments. Help me to rest and just trust in you, my faithful Shepherd. Amen.

Hebrews 13:5-6 ERV

Keep your lives free from the love of money. And be satisfied with what you have. God has said, “I will never leave you; I will never run away from you.”
So we can feel sure and say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. People can do nothing to me.”

Deuteronomy 31:7-8 ERV

Then Moses called Joshua. All the Israelites watched while Moses said to Joshua, “Be strong and brave. You will lead these people into the land that the LORD promised to give to their ancestors. You will help the Israelites take that land and divide it among them.
The LORD will lead you. He himself is with you. He will not fail you or leave you. Don’t worry. Don’t be afraid!”

1 Chronicles 28:20 ERV

David also said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and brave and finish this work. Don’t be afraid, because the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will help you until all the work is finished. He will not leave you. You will build the LORD’S Temple.
