Good morning, Father.
Well, you will have to sustain me as the only Husband with me for a little time again. Within 12 to 26 hours I will be getting on a bus and leaving my heart behind in Texas. Back to my sister’s in Iowa I go. I trust you with my Mate, Lord. I know that YOU know exactly the plans you have for him — and for me, and for us as a team — and I trust you completely. Thank you for rescuing me from the Texas heat, and please help me make the most of my time so that the two of us working together in two different states can perhaps save up enough money to get ourselves a camper we can call our own — hopefully the hybrid one we have our eyes on!

Isaiah 54:2-5 ERV

Make your tent bigger. Open your doors wide. Don’t think small! Make your tent large and strong,
because you will grow in all directions. Your children will take over many nations and live in the cities that were destroyed.
Don’t be afraid! You will not be disappointed. People will not say bad things against you. You will not be embarrassed. When you were young, you felt shame. But you will forget that shame now. You will not remember the shame you felt when you lost your husband.
Your real husband is the one who made you. His name is the LORD All-Powerful. The Holy One of Israel is your Protector, and he is the God of all the earth!

Lord, I thank you for the stability and security I feel right now, both with you and in my personal life — as well as with my Mate and our relationship and future plans. I have walked through some difficult days, but each one has made me stronger, pruning away the excess baggage of worry and regret and fear and bitterness. Thank you for lightness, thank you for my awesome sister who loves you so much (and me, too!), and thank you for this opportunity to grow and learn more with you. PLEASE protect my Mate and keep him safe — in body, mind, heart, and spirit, Lord. Bring him back to me in your perfect timing. I give us both into your loving hands, our faithful Shepherd. Amen.
