Apr 14

Hello, Lord.
Thank you for this nice peaceful Sabbath day, and thank you for encouraging me to take a day off to relax and restore my soul a bit. Thank you for holding our little camper together through these rough winds that have returned, and thank you for being the ONE to decide how much is ENOUGH, in all things concerning little me and all of your peeps, Lord God. Please help me to remain unsophisticated, your simple servant, light in heart and calm in mind and spirit. Help me to be a vessel for your Love to others, and please give me words to encourage them through their own struggles. Amen.

Philippians 2:3-9 ERV

In whatever you do, don’t let selfishness or pride be your guide. Be humble, and honor others more than yourselves.
Don’t be interested only in your own life, but care about the lives of others too.
In your life together, think the way Christ Jesus thought.
He was like God in every way, but he did not think that his being equal with God was something to use for his own benefit.
Instead, he gave up everything, even his place with God. He accepted the role of a servant, appearing in human form. During his life as a man,
he humbled himself by being fully obedient to God, even when that caused his death—death on a cross.
So God raised him up to the most important place and gave him the name that is greater than any other name.

Lord, please help me order my time and use my resources wisely, in such a way that I help build and encourage others more than my own self. Show me how to use what I have been given for your will and purpose. Thank you, faithful Shepherd.
