Hello, Father!
Thank you for this blessed peaceful day, and all the pleasing contrasts between simplicy and nature vs. technology and “sophistication”, lol. I don’t think I am very sophisticated myself — actually quite SIMPLE — but I AM learning to use rather sophisticated “industry standard” apps to produce video, audio, photo, and other graphics. And it is FUN, especially when I use it to capture nature, like this:

Thank you, Lord, for creating such an awesome world, where there is always something new to see and to learn, and always MANY things to be grateful for! Thank you for helping me record the 25+ turtles on this log today, after seeing them sun themselves every day for the last several, and never (until today) being able to get close enough to get a good photo or video. Thank you for helping me to creep ever so slowly forward, balancing on the tips of big rocks so as not to cruch the leaves below and scare them off. It worked so well that after getting several good pics and video clips, I scared them on purpose, just so I could film their splashing retreat, lol. That was fun, Lord. Thank you for making turtles, and allowing me to experience them and to share the experience with others. Amen.

Romans 8:19-21 ERV

Everything that God made is waiting with excitement for the time when he will show the world who his children are. The whole world wants very much for that to happen.
Everything God made was allowed to become like something that cannot fulfill its purpose. That was not its choice, but God made it happen with this hope in view:
That the creation would be made free from ruin—that everything God made would have the same freedom and glory that belong to God’s children.
