Apr 9

Lord, I feel weary and my head is hurting again. I thank you for blessing me with peace and nice weather, a safe place to sleep, and even electricity and decent food. I lift all four of my children up to you and ask you to bless each one with a personal relationship with you — perhaps the only way to truly know peace and lasting joy in this world. My heart aches for them, I miss them badly. Please be with them while I cannot. Amen.

Psalm 27:7-10 ERV

LORD, hear my voice. Be kind and answer me.
My heart told me to come to you, LORD, so I am coming to ask for your help.
Don’t turn away from me. Don’t be angry with your servant. You are the only one who can help me. My God, don’t leave me all alone. You are my Savior.
Even if my mother and father leave me, the LORD will take me in.

Psalm 127:2-3 ERV

It is a waste of time to get up early and stay up late, trying to make a living. The Lord provides for those he loves, even while they are sleeping.
Children are a gift from the LORD, a reward from a mother’s womb.
