Good morning, Father!
Thank you for the unique perspectives yesterday, playfully jumping in to interact with old things and create new ones without analyzing much at all! Thank you for new beginnings like constructing my personal brand and logo, and brainstorming how to redesign some of my old websites. Thank you for helping me to learn more and more every day, lately in the area of graphic design, but also “life in general”. LOL. Thank you once again for giving me the opportunity to live in this age of exciting digital tools, with very little time wasted on cooking or cleaning or other such domestic distractions. I thank you profusely that I have a CHOICE how to spend my time, rather than being a slave to “the grind” or to anything else. Thank you for my freedom, and thank you for my self-motivation. Please help me to improve on my followthrough and my focus. Show me what to create for YOU, my Shepherd. Amen.

Luke 11:38-41 ERV

But the Pharisee was surprised when he saw that Jesus did not wash his hands first before the meal.
The Lord said to him, “The washing you Pharisees do is like cleaning only the outside of a cup or a dish. But what is inside you? You want only to cheat and hurt people.
You are foolish! The same one who made what is outside also made what is inside.
So pay attention to what is inside. Give to the people who need help. Then you will be fully clean.

Lord, you know me very well, including how I am constantly, often painfully aware of my insides, my daily internal adventure, with “intrapersonal intelligence” being one of my greatest talents (or obsessions). I know myself sometimes TOO well, LOL. This tends to extend to the outside manifestions of how I spend my time, even if it does NOT extend so much to my physical body (thank you!). Lord, I ask you to help me become more balanced so that I spend less energy on kicking myself for every little thing and more energy helping other people carry their burdens, and make progress themselves. I know I cannot just run out and find people to help. I know that it is only YOUR words and YOUR love that truly make a difference. Please prepare me to serve the ones YOU bring, in whatever ways you would have me to do so. When you put someone before me, no matter who they are or what I was busy doing at the time, please help me to lay down my own internal self-absorption and focus on THEM, how to help them, how to reflect your awesome Love to them, Lord. Help me not JUST to be “clean” on the inside, but to bring forth any cleanness you’ve created in me to the outside, to give to anyone who needs it. In YOUR perfect timing, faithful Shepherd. Amen.
