Hello, Father!
Woot! The beginning of my third year writing on this blog… I wonder how long it will continue.
Thank you, Lord, for all the help my family and friends have given to me and my Mate this week, and thank you for the new people I’ve met just recently. I thank you especially for all the encouraging words, all the love and kindness and compassion shown to me since my living situation changed a few days ago. Thank you for the opportunity to meet a very nice couple who wants to help (and maybe we can help them just as much!), and thank you for this new person who is offering a live-in job, fixing up an apartment to rent, on a horse farm! I am excited to see what you will do with us in the coming days and weeks, Lord. Thank you for ALWAYS coming through for me, never letting me down, always rescuing me from my own self and my occasional despair and loneliness. Thank you for the new insights and understandings and closeness shared with my Mate these last dozen hours or so, and please be with my daughter this week as she prepares for her own new life! 😀

Psalm 118:21-29 ERV

Lord, I thank you for answering my prayer. I thank you for saving me.
The stone that the builders rejected became the cornerstone.
The LORD made this happen, and we think it is wonderful!
This is the day the LORD has made. Let us rejoice and be happy today!
The people say, “Praise the LORD! The LORD saved us!
Welcome to the one who comes in the name of the LORD.” The priests answer, “We welcome you to the LORD’S house!
The LORD is God, and he accepts us. Tie up the lamb for the sacrifice and carry it to the horns of the altar.”
Lord, you are my God, and I thank you. My God, I praise you!
Praise the LORD because he is good. His faithful love will last forever.
