Dec 19

Thank you, Father, for another opportunity to spend a day at the library, and thank you for helping me concentrate and finally finish a task that I have been working on at various times over the past few months! Now, I fear there are new obstacles and frustrations and hangups, but I trust that you will lead me through each one if I only just patiently follow your lead. Thank you, Lord, for your patience with little me, and thank you for all the little lessons I am learning, as well as the big ones that I cannot quite see in full as yet — too close to them, lol.

Psalm 119:28-39 ERV

I am sad and tired. Say the word, and make me strong again.
Don’t let me live a lie. Guide me with your teachings.
I have chosen to be loyal to you.
I respect your laws.
I follow your rules closely, LORD. Don’t let me be put to shame.
I do my best to follow your commands, because you are the one who gives me the desire.
LORD, teach me your laws, and I will always follow them.
Help me understand your teachings, and I will follow them. Obeying them will be my greatest desire.
Help me follow your commands, because that makes me happy.
Give me the desire to follow your rules, not the desire to get rich.
Don’t let me look at worthless things. Help me live your way.
Do what you promised me, your servant, so that people will respect you.
Take away the shame I fear. Your laws are good.

Lord, I am unsure what to work on next, since I have finally finished that longstanding task. There are several things I feel I could or even should do, but I want to spend my time and energy accomplishing whatever your will is for me. Please guide me with your Holy Spirit, and put before me the task that you would have me to do next. Guide me in how to best use my time, efficiently and faithfully for you. Please be near those whom I love, and give a special blessing to those who read this blog and the one person who faithfully donates to me each month. I don’t know who it is or what their purpose is, but I ask you to reward them an hundredfold, bless them in some special way that only YOU know they need. Amen.
