Hello, Father!
Thank you so much for the healing and growth and encouragement this day. Thank you for helping me sleep for nine hours pretty straight right through the coldest night, down into the low twenties, sleeping in the popup camper. Thank you for helping me prepare with layers of clothing and blankets and hoodie that together made me stay plenty warm and cozy and able to breathe warm enough air so I didn’t get a cough or even get chilled! And now, the nights are supposed to be at least 5 to 10 degrees warmer, so I feel like I have faced the worst and made it through — smooth sailing ahead, lol.

1 Timothy 4:7-10 ERV

People tell silly stories that don’t agree with God’s truth. Don’t follow what these stories teach. But teach yourself to be devoted to God.
Training your body helps you in some ways. But devotion to God helps you in every way. It brings you blessings in this life and in the future life too.
Here is a true statement that should be accepted without question:
We hope in the living God, the Savior of all people. In particular, he is the Savior of all those who believe in him. This is why we work and struggle.

Lord, I thank you for these quiet moments in the camper by myself, and I thank you for the good times (and difficult times) here with my Mate as well. Thank you for hard lessons learned, opportunities to see things in new perspectives, and directions of growth and change. Please help me to keep learning, and please show me how to use my time most wisely and lovingly. Help me to stay humble and teachable and willing to serve. Amen.

Father, I also lift each of my children up to you this day. My oldest son seems to have some heartache that needs your attention. Please encourage him to keep looking to you. Be his hero, his rescuer, his friend. Please touch each of my other sons as well as my daughter, too. Give them each peace and lead them into a relationship with you. Help each of my children to come to know you as the faithful Shepherd that you are. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
