Good morning, Father.
You see my heart, my needs, my fears. You see how badly I need you, and I thank you for letting me cling to you these last few days, as I prepare to face my fears. Thank you for having my husband even give me a bit of reassurance last night as well, and thank you for not allowing his OTHER words to discourage me. I keep giving you my heart and my life, my Lord. And I will continue to praise you, Faithful One! Thank you for choosing me!
2 Thessalonians 2:13-16 ERV
Brothers and sisters, you are people the Lord loves. And we always thank God for you. That’s what we should do, because God chose you to be some of the first people to be saved. You are saved by the Spirit making you holy and by your faith in the truth.
God chose you to have that salvation. He chose you by using the Good News that we told you. You were chosen so that you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So, brothers and sisters, stand strong and continue to believe the teachings we gave you when we were there and by letter.
We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father will comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say. God loved us and gave us through his grace a wonderful hope and comfort that has no end.
Thank you, Father, for your comfort and hope which have no end! Thank you for your enduring mercy and lovingkindness. Please help me to make you proud today, giving you glory and not taking things into my own hands. Keep me and my daughter safe in all ways, and let our words be those that YOU would choose for us. Thank you, Shepherd and Master! Amen!
