Lord, I am nervous. Today my hosting service expires, and I have to migrate to a new system. The “help” I received from GoDaddy yesterday was scandalous, and I cannot understand how they can get away with charging three times as much for their outdated service, which I have been limping along with, than for their newer “cPanel” service, which uses the most recent versions of SQL and PHP. I am frustrated, skeptical, and a bit scared. It seems like it would be okay to engage the help of an outside expert — first time in my life, if I do — but with very little time and everything to lose, I am asking YOU to guide me very clearly and distinctly, Lord. I cannot afford to miss your Voice or to disobey the faithful leading of your Spirit. Please give me discernment and wisdom, Father. Please give me the humility and courage to give this whole scary mess to you, and to do whatever it is you would have me to do, in your timing. Amen.

Luke 9:23-26 ERV

Jesus continued to say to all of them, “Any of you who want to be my follower must stop thinking about yourself and what you want. You must be willing to carry the cross that is given to you every day for following me.
Any of you who try to save the life you have will lose it. But you who give up your life for me will save it.
It is worth nothing for you to have the whole world if you yourself are destroyed or lost.
Don’t be ashamed of me and my teaching. If that happens, I will be ashamed of you when I come with my divine greatness and that of the Father and the holy angels.

Lord Jesus, you are my faithful Shepherd. Thank you for saving me, leading me, strengthening me with your Holy Spirit. Thank you for giving me Life and hope and joy! Thank you for being my High Priest, my Rock, my Source of everything good. Thank you for always being near, your Spirit as my constant companion and Comforter. Lord, even though my heart is trembling a bit at the possibility of losing everything I’ve built over the past 13 years, all of my 25 domains and websites, I still have peace, an assurrance that you are Faithful, you will provide, you will protect me and save all that I am meant to have. I give you my life and my livelihood. I give you my work and my skill and my talent and my time. It is all yours, Lord. Protect what is yours, and continue to prune away everything that is just a distraction or a hindrance to your work in me and in my life. I trust you completely, Lord Jesus. Please help me to clearly hear your Voice, and be guided of your Spirit. Protect me from even my own foolish self, and don’t let me screw things up. I know with all certainty that you have done this so very many times before, and you are Faithful to do it many more times in the future. Thank you, Shepherd. Amen.
