I shall yet learn, and grow beyond the immaturity of adulthood. I shall again laugh, and learn the wisdom of a child.

Good morning, Father.
Thank you for healing and growth, and thank you for even the in-between days when not much seems to happen, but there is still peace and not-always-so-obvious progress. I am grateful to live in this age of technology, with all its myriad ways of learning and sharing, but I do wish that all the troubles of technology did not frustrate my Mate so very much. Lord, please help him with his phone and its crazy instability, along with his tablet that keeps having little issues as well. Thank you for blessing me with peaceful and hopeful experiences with my own devices, Lord, and please show me how I can help my Mate best — either by just listening and being compassionate, or by actively helping when given the chance. Help me to grow in wisdom, Father, so that I continue to have chances to help your people. Amen.

Proverbs 3:13-35 ERV

Those who find wisdom are fortunate; they will be blessed when they gain understanding.
Profit that comes from wisdom is better than silver and even the finest gold.
Wisdom is worth more than fine jewels. Nothing you desire has more value.
With her right hand, Wisdom offers long life—with the other hand, riches and honor.
Wisdom will lead you to a life of joy and peace.
Wisdom is like a life-giving tree to those who hold on to her; she is a blessing to those who keep her close.

With wisdom and understanding, the LORD created the earth and sky.
With his knowledge, he made the oceans and the clouds that produce rain.
My son, don’t ever let wisdom out of your sight. Hold on to wisdom and careful planning.
They will bring you a long life filled with honor.
As you go through life, you will always be safe and never fall.
When you lie down, you will not be afraid. When you rest, your sleep will be peaceful.
You have no reason to fear a sudden disaster or the destruction that comes to the wicked.
You can trust the LORD to protect you. He will not let you fall into harm.
Do everything you possibly can for those who need help.
If your neighbor needs something you have, don’t say, “Come back tomorrow.” Give it to him immediately.

Don’t make plans to harm your neighbor, who lives near you and trusts you.
Don’t take people to court without good reason, especially when they have done nothing to harm you.
Don’t envy those who are violent. Never choose to be like them.
Such crooked people are disgusting to the LORD. But he is a friend to those who are good and honest.
The LORD curses a wicked family, but he blesses the homes of those who live right.
He will humiliate those who make fun of others, but he is kind to those who are humble.
The way the wise live will bring them honor, but the way fools live will bring them shame.

Lord, please help me to grow in wisdom, and show me how to help each person I meet, even if it is only with a cheerful smile and a warm greeting. Show me how to wisely use the resources of my time, my love of learning, my enjoyment of technology, and my digital store of applications and graphics and notes and books and videos and still shots… AND ideas and plans and dreams and hopes, lol. I give it all to you, my Lord, a living sacrifice and a witness of your awesome blessings and faithful care. Thank you for this beautiful day, another chance to serve you and learn about this amazing world you created, with all its amazingly diverse people, plants, and animals. 😀
