Good morning, Father.
Thank you for your kindness and patience with us while we struggle to give our disappointment and discouragement to you. Thank you for making it easier and lighter than I could have hoped for. Thank you for helping my husband and my sister not be mad at me at all, not blaming me one bit, but rather quite supportive and reassurring. Thank you for NOT creating me with an allergy to bees and wasp stings, as that could have caused great difficulty during yesterday’s mowing! Thank you for helping me find my brain again this morning, moving on to the next steps in restructuring my online business. Please continue to guide me in that effort, along with still helping my husband, helping my sister, and practicing all the Adobe CC apps. Help me to just keep looking to you, following your Voice, and trusting that you still love me and are caring for me. Amen.

Psalm 34:17-22 ERV

Pray to the LORD, and he will hear you. He will save you from all your troubles.
The LORD is close to those who have suffered disappointment. He saves those who are discouraged.
Good people might have many problems, but the LORD will take them all away.
He will protect them completely. Not one of their bones will be broken.
But troubles will kill the wicked. The enemies of those who live right will all be punished.
The LORD saves his servants. All who go to him for protection will escape punishment.

Lord, I feel a bit wounded in heart, a bit downcast in spirit, but I still trust you completely and I am looking to you, my Shepherd, to lead me to the next steps. Please help me to narrow my focus to the things you specifically want ME to do, and to not be distracted by the bigger picture of having no real home in this world, no place to put away my things, no real hope of ever “unpacking” into a nice camper trailer like the one we lost. Heal my wounded heart, Oh Lord, and do the same for my Mate as well. Heal his body and please don’t let him work it so hard that he gets reinjured again. Help us stand before you, FREE and ready to serve. Amen.
