Good morning, Lord!
Wow, I can’t believe it’s the middle of February already! I wonder when my son finishes his military training. I think it was supposed to be some time this month, but I haven’t heard from him. When he communicates, it is very little beyond, “I’ve been really busy”. I miss him, Lord. And I am concerned about my daughter, who seems to be in some type of major slump. I can’t get much response from her, she just wants a big cuddly puppy. And she doesn’t like school. But she only has 3 1/2 months left of school, the end is in sight, so I don’t get it why she can’t break herself out of this heavy despair. I know YOU understand her, Lord, and you know what she needs. I ask you to please give me the wisdom to help in what ever way I can, and help me to NOT make it any worse with all my efforts of TRYING to help. Thank you for taking good care of me, my husband, and my children, Father! 🙂
Psalm 17:6-8 ERV
Every time I call to you, God, you answer me. So listen to me now, and hear what I say.
Show your amazing kindness and rescue those who depend on you. Use your great power and protect them from their enemies.
Protect me like the pupil of your eye. Hide me in the shadow of your wings.
Lord, I thank you for your awesome, enduring kindness. Thank you for using your awesome power to rescue and protect us! What more could we ever want or need? Please comfort our hearts with the truth of your presence in our lives, and fill our hearts with hope in you and in your infinite care of us. Thank you for loving us, Father!
