Good morning, Father.
Lord, I feel a bit urpy this morning — a bit physically “under the weather” although the weather has been delightful indeed! I woke up with the burpies and now have the hiccups, lol. As they are dimiishing, I am eating some crackers. This makes me appreciate the good health I normally enjoy, so thank you, Lord! 🙂

Proverbs 4:20-27 ERV

My son, pay attention to what I say. Listen closely to my words.
Don’t let them out of your sight. Never stop thinking about them.
These words are the secret of life and health to all who discover them.
Above all, be careful what you think because your thoughts control your life.
Don’t bend the truth or say things that you know are not right.
Keep your eyes on the path, and look straight ahead.
Make sure you are going the right way, and nothing will make you fall.
Don’t go to the right or to the left, and you will stay away from evil.

Lord, I remembered yesterday that when I get going real strong on my work, I tend to get thin-skinned and a bit critical of others. I desire to prevent that from happening this time, as I seem to be gung-ho on learning and practicing all my new Adobe CC skills, AND on building my websites and such in the early hours of each morning, during “free internet time”. Lord, I also seem to be overly sensitive to my sister’s moods, wondering if we are still welcome here, or if she is getting sick of us. I give both these concerns to you, my Shepherd, along with my urpies and burpies this morning, and I ask you to carry these burdens for me so that they do not prevent me from being free and light, your little Acceptance with Joy. I know I do not need to worry — you care for ALL my needs. I know you will be with me every step of every day, informing me through your Spirit and your Word, which agree.

1 John 5:6-12 ERV

Jesus Christ is the one who came. He came with water and with blood. He did not come by water only. No, Jesus came by both water and blood. And the Spirit tells us that this is true. The Spirit is the truth.
So there are three witnesses that tell us about Jesus:
the Spirit, the water, and the blood. These three witnesses agree.
We believe people when they say something is true. But what God says is more important. And this is what God told us: He told us the truth about his own Son.
Whoever believes in the Son of God has the truth that God told us. But people who do not believe God make God a liar, because they do not believe what God told us about his Son.
This is what God told us: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
Whoever has the Son has life, but whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
