Good morning, Father.
Thank you for healing my crazy husband and thank you for the opportunities we have been getting already, to help my sister in small ways around her house. Father, there are a great many things that remain Unknown — such as where we will be sleeping in the coming weeks and months, where we will be (even which state), and how we will obtain water and food and electricity, etc. We have a generator and batteries and other supplies, but some are here and some are still in storage in Texas. We have a small income from my business, but it is not enough to really sustain us, and certainly not enough to help us obtain a camper or even to build one. Lord, we are trusting you to lead us to the right people at the right time, to close and open the right doors for us, so that we can know and do your will, working in trade for supplies or other help — or else working for money that we can use to meet our basic needs. Father, you see all that is in us, all that is before us, and all that we need. I trust you completely, my faithful Shepherd. I look forward to seeing what you have for us in the coming days and weeks, and I pray that you help us both to stay humble and teachable and willing, and free from the hindrance of our own foolish and shortsighted human expectations. Amen.

Hebrews 2:10-18 ERV

It was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through suffering as part of his plan to glorify many children,
because both the one who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified all have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers
when he says, “I will announce your name to my brothers. I will praise you within the congregation.”
And again, “I will trust him.” And again, “I am here with the children God has given me.”
Therefore, since the children have flesh and blood, he himself also shared the same things, so that by his death he might destroy the one who has the power of death (that is, the devil)
and might free those who were slaves all their lives because they were terrified by death.
or it is clear that he did not come to help angels. No, he came to help Abraham’s descendants,
thereby becoming like his brothers in every way, so that he could be a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God and could atone for the people’s sins.
Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

Lord, I thank you for making a way for us to become Children of God. I thank you for your mercy and for the leading of your Holy Spirit, working in us to help us become more like you, and to bear spiritual fruit for your glory. Father, I lift my own childen up to you and ask you to bless each one with a close and personal relationship with you, and I thank you for providing for their individual needs throughout their lives. Lord, you see what each one of them needs right now, and although I cannot be with any of them at this time, I ask you to be with them, comfort and encourage them, and guide them forward in their own individual lives and walks with you. Father, I pray especially for my daughter this day, as she has not yet found her special place in you or in this life. I ask that you be very near to her, intervene in her life, and move her heart in the direction of her own freedom, Lord. Help her make good decisions and protect her from everything that is not your particular will for her life. Thank you for your faithful care of ALL of us, Shepherd!
