Hello, Father.
Thank you so much for providing so much and so bountifully for us, all these years, through all the crazy circumstances. I know I can count on you to guide us in what to do now, how to prepare for whatever you have up and coming. It is so awesome to be able to trust in you, our faithful Shepherd. Lord, please train my ears to hear your Voice more and more clearly all the time, and to grow in wisdom and courage and humility, so that I can bear fruit for your glory. Lord, please be with my husband now as he finishes the last things in Texas and prepares for the drive north to Iowa. Please move his heart to do your will and to not leave anything undone there. Please protect him wherever he goes, Lord, as I know you will. I am so excited to finally have the end of this unplanned separation in sight — WOOT!! 😀

2 Timothy 3:15-17 ERV

You have known the Holy Scriptures since you were a child. These Scriptures are able to make you wise. And that wisdom leads to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is given by God. And all Scripture is useful for teaching and for showing people what is wrong in their lives. It is useful for correcting faults and teaching the right way to live.
Using the Scriptures, those who serve God will be prepared and will have everything they need to do every good work.

Lord, please help me to dwell in your Word, to read it again during the night when I awake, and off and on throughout the day. I enjoy it when you light your Holy Fire in me, Lord, when I just cannot get enough of your Word and crave it more than any food. Please let your Word bear fruit in me, and help me to grow strong in you. Prepare me for the days ahead, both for the things I need to do myself, and for the things I will need to help my husband with. Help me to remember to NOT try to figure things out, but instead to stay light and free and willing to do things your way, in your timing. Help me remember my priorities, and not get distracted by how I WANT things to be — things outside of my top two priorities. Help me to keep the goal in sight, and not stray to left or right. Amen. Thank you, Shepherd!
