Hello, Lord!
Thank you for all the awesome growth in the last day, preparing my resources for working without internet service, and also discussing with my husband various different possibilities and opportunities and details, mostly all positive and exciting! Most of me is really looking forward to leaving this oppressive place and flying free, yet I am still determined to appreciate what I have while I am here — things I COULD take for granted, like a washer and drier, running water, and fans — and especially internet service!! 😛

Romans 12:11-18 ERV

As you serve the Lord, work hard and don’t be lazy. Be excited about serving him!
Be happy because of the hope you have. Be patient when you have troubles. Pray all the time.
Share with God’s people who need help. Look for people who need help and welcome them into your homes.
Wish only good for those who treat you badly. Ask God to bless them, not curse them.
When others are happy, you should be happy with them. And when others are sad, you should be sad too.
Live together in peace with each other. Don’t be proud, but be willing to be friends with people who are not important to others. Don’t think of yourself as smarter than everyone else.
If someone does you wrong, don’t try to pay them back by hurting them. Try to do what everyone thinks is right.
Do the best you can to live in peace with everyone.

Lord, I want the above verses to be a guide for me in dealing with people we meet during our months or years as homeless nomads. I want to seek out people to help, and ask YOU the best ways to help them. I want to cry with those who are sad and rejoice with those who are happy. I want to offer a variety of (mostly digital) services, sometimes for free but other times in exchange for a hot meal or some other informal exchange or barter, trading things of mutual benefit to each other. I pray that you prepare me in all ways for the days ahead, and show me how to make best use of the time I have left in this house. Amen.
