Good morning, Lord!
Thank you for the awesome progress on learning to use Illustrator CC yesterday, and thank you for waking me up all excited to learn and do MORE, early this morning! Father, please bless my son with a good birthday today, and help his heart to find joy and peace. Lead him into whatever future you have for him, Lord, and prepare him faithfully, as I know you will. Lord, please also be with my husband today or whenever he begins what we hope will be his last act in bondage to this world’s standards, his last job done for our landlord, under the shame of “I owe you” slavery instead of “I choose to give you” freedom! Please protect his heart, Lord, and let YOUR will be done. Please help him to remember that you judge by the HEART, and no MAN has the right to judge him, for he is YOUR servant, not theirs. Amen.
Romans 14:4 ISV
Who are you to criticize someone else’s servant? He stands or falls before his own Lord—and stand he will, because the Lord makes him stand.
Matthew 20:15-16 ERV
I can do what I want with my own money. Why would you be jealous because I am generous?’
“So those who are last now will be first in the future. And those who are first now will be last in the future.”
Romans 4:16 ERV
So people get what God promised by having faith. This happens so that the promise can be a free gift. And if the promise is a free gift, then all of Abraham’s people will get that promise. The promise is not just for those who live under the Law of Moses. It is for all who live with faith as Abraham did. He is the father of us all.
Lord, I thank you for choosing me to be your servant. I thank you for judging me according to mine own heart, rather than by the world’s standards of things that are temporal: job, income, house, car, clothing. Thank you for giving me a simple income doing a large variety of things and able to help people and FREE to follow you wherever you lead. Please continue to teach me and grow me in mind and heart and spirit, even as I also learn skills that supplement the simple income you provide me — by continuing to climb the Adobe CC learning curve and building my digital assets. I give my time, my heart, my hands, my mind to you, Oh Lord. Lead on, Faithful Shepherd! 😀
