Hello, Shepherd!
I fall more and more in love with you every day, Lord. This is another of those times in life when I look around me at all the ways things CAN improve, and yet I wonder how I can hold any more joy than I already have, living my last days/weeks in a ramshackle trailer with no heat and no working vehicle, facing homelessness and the radical Unknown. I SEEM to have less than any of my neighbors, yet I FEEL like I am the richest woman in the world! I wouldn’t trade your closeness with me, your gentle reassuring touch in my spirit, for a gazillion dollars, my eternal Husband! Thank you for making me, thank you for choosing me, thank you for growing me in your garden.

Luke 11:41-43 ERV

So pay attention to what is inside. Give to the people who need help. Then you will be fully clean
“But it will be bad for you Pharisees! You give God a tenth of the food you get, even your mint, your rue, and every other little plant in your garden. But you forget to be fair to others and to love God. These are the things you should do. And you should also continue to do those other things.
“It will be bad for you Pharisees because you love to have the most important seats in the synagogues. And you love for people to show respect to you in the marketplaces.

Awesome Lord, I thank you that you continually, faithfully work on me so that I have hope of some day being fully clean. I thank you for all the opportunities you’ve given both to myself and to my husband, to give abundanty to others throughout our lives: from thousands of dollars, cars, and places to live, down to simple smiles of reassurance and the spreading of your joy and your love, Lord. I ask you to provide a good, reliable vehicle for us, so that when we must leave this place in the coming days/weeks, we will have a means to GO somewhere. I ask that you give your people opportunities to help us, so that they can grow toward being fully clean, as well. Please bring people here who will purchase all the belongings we are selling, and please keep teaching us, showing us, growing us in the direction of your will. Thank you, Faithful Shepherd! 🙂
