Good morning, Father!
Thank you so much for your awesome patience with me, as I learn new things and fumble my way forward along your path. I thank you that I can trust you to let me know whenever I stray off your path, allowing me a CHOICE to continue to follow you, or go my own way. It is so awesome to be able to trust in your faithfulness, Lord, and not have to rely on my own feeble self! Thank you for your wonderful, blessed mercy, Father! 🙂

James 4:5-10 ERV

Do you think the Scriptures mean nothing? The Scriptures say, “The Spirit God made to live in us wants us only for himself.”
But the kindness God shows is greater. As the Scripture says, “God is against the proud, but he is kind to the humble.”
So give yourselves to God. Stand against the devil, and he will run away from you.
Come near to God and he will come near to you. You are sinners, so clean sin out of your lives. You are trying to follow God and the world at the same time. Make your thinking pure.
Be sad, be sorry, and cry! Change your laughter into crying. Change your joy into sadness.
Be humble before the Lord, and he will make you great.

Lord, I thank you for being so near to me, and drawing me ever closer to you. I pray that you do the same for each person in my family, and I pray a special prayer for my sweet daughter today. Please bring someone trustworthy and kind and fun-loving into her life. Give her a safe place to become independent from me and my husband, so that she does not have to suffer homelessness with us. I pray you spare her from that fate, and I pray that you begin to show her how YOU are her strength, her rescuer, her faithful Shepherd, her hope-bringer! And Father, if you will it, I ask you to quicken my mind and make me able to understand and apply an ever-growing library of skills at using ALL the Adobe CC applications. Show me what would be pleasing to you, for me to make — and thank you for giving me a next step to pursue, this morning as I was awakening. Thank you, my kind and loving Husband (Isaiah 54)! 😀
