Good morning, Father.
Thank you for all the learning I am doing lately! Each day kinda seems like several right now, so full of new things. I imagine that pattern may continue for quite some time yet. Thank you for showing me how EASY it can be to create new web pages and whole web sites from scratch, using Adobe CC software like Muse and Dreamweaver!! And to think, all these years, I’ve been coding from scratch in MS Notepad, or alternately depending upon free WordPress themes! Now, the gates are wide open, beckoning me forth into a new land of limitless creativity and resources! Father, please help me to use all my resources wisely, including my time and my body’s strength and health. Guide me each day in what YOU would have me get done, what you would have me learn, how you would have me prepare for the future. Please don’t let me miss a turn in your path, Lord. Teach me to always hear and obey your voice. Amen.
Luke 6:46-49 ERV
“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ but you don’t do what I say?
The people who come to me, who listen to my teachings and obey them — I will show you what they are like:
They are like a man building a house. He digs deep and builds his house on rock. The floods come, and the water crashes against the house. But the flood cannot move the house, because it was built well.
“But the people who hear my words and do not obey are like a man who builds a house without preparing a foundation. When the floods come, the house falls down easily and is completely destroyed.”
Lord, make me wise enough to always listen to you and obey your voice. Make it plain to me when I have strayed off your path. Give me a chance to notice, and to correct my placement. Give me hope in your presence, in your provision. Thank you for establishing a fervent faith within me, a real and lasting assurance that you are Faithful. And thank you so much for building my faithfulness to you as well! Father, I ask that you help my husband and my daughter prepare for the coming changes as well. Give my husband wisdom that passes all expectation, with willingness to look to you and do things your way, in your timing. Give him patience and clear sight, Lord, and move his body and mind to accomplish your will. Amen! 🙂
