Good morning, Father!
My first time posting from my Lenny — my LENovo Laptop that you LENt to me, sitting in my front yard in a camp chair, starting my “training”! There is so very, very much to learn, Lord! I cannot even reach the right shift key with my little pinky yet, but I imagine that will come with time. And thank you so much for wireless technology!! My little wireless mouse is such a blessing — otherwise I couldn’t put it up on my Lenny beside the nearly useless touchpad, move it out of my way to type, put it away in my backpack when it is time, or stick it easily in the little drink pocket on the chair, quite so easily! My body and mind have much, much to learn, even about using this little laptop! But I am so glad to not be taking everything for granted, like heat in the house (long gone!) – or a house itself!! Instead, I can delight in every little convenience, every small gift of your provision, Lord! How COOL is that?!
Hebrews 4:14-16 ERV
We have a great high priest who has gone to live with God in heaven. He is Jesus the Son of God. So let us continue to express our faith in him.
Jesus, our high priest, is able to understand our weaknesses. When Jesus lived on earth, he was tempted in every way. He was tempted in the same ways we are tempted, but he never sinned.
With Jesus as our high priest, we can feel free to come before God’s throne where there is grace. There we receive mercy and kindness to help us when we need it.
Lord, it is so supremely awesome to be sitting outside under the trees, reading your Word and typing as if I was locked away indoors at my desk! Haha, but now, thanks to your provision, that desk and that computer belong to my daughter, and I am MOBILE!! I may not have internet access everywhere I go (and I trust you to help me learn to get used to NOT having it except for when I can get to a library or use data on my phone MOST frugally), but since we have the batteries and generators, I should be able to have the ability to type and create graphics and printables and videos — whatever projects you give me to do, Lord! Please help me to prepare, help me to train, help me to get ready for whatever you are leading me into, Father. I trust you completely. Thank you for my cheerful, loving heart and my incurable optimism! 😀
