Lord, please help my heart. It is difficult not to cut my own throat and be DONE with pain and loss. I feel like I’m being asked to trust myself in the hands of the enemy, and make myself soft and open enough to treat him as my best friend. I cannot trust any human, Lord, as I’ve been hurt far too often and too deeply. But I CAN and WILL trust YOU. And that means keeping my heart wide open, no matter how many times I get hurt. That means giving away your love and your strength and your time — all that I possess — and trusting you to provide enough for me to stay alive myself, until such time as you finally take me HOME! I want that NOW, Lord! Life hurts far too bad for it to be worth anything LESS than being found faithful and true to you. That is my only target, my unified goal. And beyond that the only thing I even wish for is for those I love to be FREE and to know you intimately. I give you my heart, my Lord, my Shepherd. You are the keeper of my spirit and everything that IS me. I trust you completely. Amen.

Isaiah 40:31 KJV

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

1 Peter 4:7-11 ERV

The time is near when all things will end. So keep your minds clear, and control yourselves. This will help you in your prayers.
Most important of all, love each other deeply, because love makes you willing to forgive many sins.
Open your homes to each other and share your food without complaining.
God has shown you his grace in many different ways. So be good servants and use whatever gift he has given you in a way that will best serve each other.
If your gift is speaking, your words should be like words from God. If your gift is serving, you should serve with the strength that God gives. Then it is God who will be praised in everything through Jesus Christ. Power and glory belong to him forever and ever. Amen.

Lord, let my life be a prayer to you. Amen.
