Dec 27

Good morning, Lord.
Thank you for helping me get my computer working better, and thank you for helping me get through that horrible eye pain yesterday. Please perform a miracle and make my old contact lenses last until I can afford the several hundred dollars to get a contact lens exam and new lenses. Thank you for helping me yesterday when I was so very discouraged and disheartened, Lord. Thank you for making my work go so well and everything flow on THAT so smoothly that I still managed to add four new posts to my NEW main website yesterday despite all the problems. WOOT! Encouraging!! πŸ˜€

1 Timothy 6:10-15 ERV

The love of money causes all kinds of evil. Some people have turned away from what we believe because they want to get more and more money. But they have caused themselves a lot of pain and sorrow.
But you belong to God. So you should stay away from all those things. Always try to do what is right, to be devoted to God, and to have faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
We have to fight to keep our faith. Try as hard as you can to win that fight. Take hold of eternal life. It is the life you were chosen to have when you confessed your faith in Jesus–that wonderful truth that you spoke so openly and that so many people heard.
Before God and Christ Jesus I give you a command. Jesus is the one who confessed that same wonderful truth when he stood before Pontius Pilate. And God is the one who gives life to everything. Now I tell you this:
Do what you were commanded to do without fault or blame until the time when our Lord Jesus Christ comes again.
God will make that happen at the right time. God is the blessed and only Ruler. He is the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords.

Father, I thank you for choosing me and making me yours through the awesome work of your son Jesus on the cross! Thank you for providing a way for me to live my life for you and not be lost, serving only my own self. Father, I completely trust you to meet my needs. I have lived my entire life in poverty and have known more joy than seems to be the norm, especially for people living like I do! Father, I do desire to travel and see more of your creation, and I strongly desire to have enough money to help other people, and even to buy their art and encourage them in all sorts of ways. But I accept whatever level of wealth you have planned for me. I know that at the right time, I will have the money for my eye exam and contacts. Until then, I trust you to take care of me very well with what you’ve already given me. Amen! πŸ˜€
