Good morning, Lord.
Father, please sustain me, as I know that you will, even if I didn’t ask. I only do ask because I know that it pleases you. I know that you are faithful and although I FEEL all alone and hurting, like there is no tomorrow, no hope, I know that you ARE Faithful and that you will hold me up and hold me together. Lord, I am soooooo weary! But I know that is just part of being a human upon this earth. I know that you will recharge me, both inside and out. You will make your Spirit be ENOUGH to sustain me. You will not leave me, and you will not let me down. Thank you, Shepherd. I trust you completely.

Psalm 37:7-11 ERV

Trust in the LORD and wait quietly for his help. Don’t be angry when people make evil plans and succeed.
Don’t become so angry and upset that you, too, want to do evil.
The wicked will be destroyed, but those who call to the LORD for help will get the land he promised.
In a short time there will be no more evil people. You can look for them all you want, but they will be gone.
Humble people will get the land God promised, and they will enjoy peace.

Thank you, Lord God, for giving me the gift of GRATITUDE, and through it, humility and peace and joy and love. I truly do have everything I need. Thank you for making me warm in body and in heart, despite the coldness of life and weather. Thank you for giving me hope and a smile, even when things look hopeless and sad. Thank you for reminding me of things that I love and enjoy, and helping me find delight in the smallest things, like photos of tiny mushrooms growing in the forest, and memories of places and people. Thank you also for my dear friend in New York, for touching her life and allowing her to touch mine. Thank you for Hannah Hurnard and her faithfulness all those years ago, writing for you, and giving the gift of her writing to her sisters like me. Thank you for always faithfully giving me ENOUGH, Shepherd. Thank you for sustaining me. Amen.
