Hello, Father!
Yay! I am finally feeling better! Thank you for helping me past the worst of that cough-and-sore-throat thing I’ve been fighting off this past week, and thank you for giving me back my brain! Haha, now I can finally see the sun again, hope for building things, motivation to do so! Father, please help me not to over do it — not to push my body too much, too fast. Help me to eat well and stay warm and exercise just enough. Show me what things to fill my days with, and help me to be prepared for anything by praying and being thankful. Amen!

Colossians 4:2 ERV

Never stop praying. Be ready for anything by praying and being thankful.

Hebrews 12:25-29 ERV

Be careful and don’t refuse to listen when God speaks. Those people refused to listen to him when he warned them on earth. And they did not escape. Now God is speaking from heaven. So now it will be worse for those who refuse to listen to him.
When he spoke before, his voice shook the earth. But now he has promised, “Once again I will shake the earth, but I will also shake heaven.”
The words “once again” clearly show us that everything that was created will be destroyed–that is, the things that can be shaken. And only what cannot be shaken will remain.
So we should be thankful because we have a kingdom that cannot be shaken. And because we are thankful, we should worship God in a way that will please him. We should do this with respect and fear,
because our God is like a fire that can destroy us.

Father, I thank you for sustaining me and nurturing me, rather than destroying me! I thank you for your ongoing mercy, always leading me and growing me for YOU! I give you this day, my time, my heart, my hands, my mind. I give you my loyalty and my attention, Lord. Please continue to show me the path to walk, and help me to be always humble and teachable and willing to listen and obey. Give me awareness enough to stop and pause and seek your will and guidance when I feel “stuck”, rather than just plowing onwards in whatever direction I think is right. Give me courage to do things your way, always trusting you and remembering that you see things in a much broader, deeper view than I could ever see. I need you, Shepherd. And I trust you. Lead on! 😀
