Hello, Father.
Thank you for the beautiful, miraculous sunshine outside today, and 70 degrees — WOOT! Thank you for providing for my needs, giving me HOPE and rest and work and love! Thank you for my nice soup and my awesome herbal tea, both of which are really blessings while I fight off this crazy laryngitis or whatever it is. Thank you for giving my husband a way to try to help me, so he feels useful, and thank you for keeping him and my daughter from coming down with whatever I’ve got. Thank you for making my body strong. Please help it fight off this infection, and please show me the right things to do to get rid of it and be back to normal, rather than sounding like a honking goose, lol.

Proverbs 18:14 ERV

A good attitude will support you when you are sick, but if you give up, nothing can help.

Psalm 41:1-3 ERV

To the director: A song of David. Those who help the poor succeed will get many blessings. When trouble comes, the LORD will save them.
The LORD will protect them and save their lives. He will bless them in this land. He will not let their enemies harm them.
When they are sick in bed, the LORD will give them strength and make them well!

Father, I thank you for taking care of me so well that even while I am sick, I feel I do not have to worry about myself. I am already thinking about how I can help other people today. Please guide me and give me courage and humility so I can do things YOUR way and be effective and fruitful. Help me to see beyond my own fingertips to where YOUR hand can reach, Father. Show me the way to be used of you. Amen!
