Good morning, Lord!
I haven’t felt this good in a while, and I thank you for the lightness and enthusiasm I feel today! Thank you so much for working with me so closely yesterday, making my project turn out so well, with practically all my books compacted into one small area, ready for a MOVE! Thank you, Lord, for giving me such an awesome start to my future library, and thank you for allowing me time and energy and space in the house to sort all my books by subject and box them up accordingly. Please help me in the coming week to continue my pre-move organizing, next tackling my notebooks and papers, as well as my art supplies. I actually think it is quite awesome that I don’t have a bunch of clothes or trinkets to care for — I much prefer BOOKS! Thank you for caring for my heart, gentle Lord.

1 Peter 5:6-11 ERV

So be humble under God’s powerful hand. Then he will lift you up when the right time comes.
Give all your worries to him, because he cares for you.
Control yourselves and be careful! The devil is your enemy, and he goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to attack and eat.
Refuse to follow the devil. Stand strong in your faith. You know that your brothers and sisters all over the world are having the same sufferings that you have.
Yes, you will suffer for a short time. But after that, God will make everything right. He will make you strong. He will support you and keep you from falling. He is the God who gives all grace. He chose you to share in his glory in Christ. That glory will continue forever.
All power is his forever. Amen.

I just love these verses. But then again, I feel so joyous this morning that I could probably love most things, lol. Still, I really do adore the word “careth”, as in “He careth for you” (KJV). And I am getting much from re-reading Hinds Feet on my phone, in little bits throughout the day, little moments when I have to sit and wait, or when I’m just taking a little break. Thank you, Lord, that you made me to live in this time when technology is so advanced that I can have entire libraries at my fingertips, hundreds if not thousands of books stored on “the Cloud” in my Amazon account, most of them free and ALL of them able to be downloaded to my phone or Kindle and carried around effortlessly. Truly I am wildly blessed! šŸ˜€
