Good morning, Lord.
Thank you for humbling me, helping me to see how very little I need in order to be content. It seems all I REALLY need is you, and perhaps some quiet time to sit with you and gather strength. I am grateful that I am not dependent upon very many luxuries of life, and that even those I am accustomed to are relatively few. Please keep me humble and teachable, Lord. And help me to always have gratitude in my heart and a praise for you upon my lips. Amen!

Hebrews 13:14-16 ERV

Here on earth we don’t have a city that lasts forever. But we are waiting for the city that we will have in the future.
So through Jesus we should never stop offering our sacrifice to God. That sacrifice is our praise, coming from lips that speak his name.
And don’t forget to do good and to share what you have with others, because sacrifices like these are very pleasing to God.

Lord, please reveal to me what I have that I can share with others. Show me what to focus on in my work, and help me to see past what I THINK I should work on. Help me to choose your path for my life, at all the critical moments that make a difference. Guide me in right living for you, so that I may be found faithful to the end. Thank you, Shepherd, for your awesome love and care, and thank you for taking such good care of my family as well. Please bless my friend in New York, help her through her own rough times, to emerge into the glorious light of your peace and joy. Thank you for choosing us, Lord. Thank you for making the Way. And thank you for accepting us how we are and continuing your work in us! 😀
